This time the topic of the special lecture on Medical University of Vienna Day is neurosurgery, with two operations on aneurysms being transmitted live into the lecture hall and explained: ANEURYSM CLIPPING, performed by Prof. Karl Rössler and ANEURYSM COILING, performed by Prof. Gerhard Bavinzski and Dr. Wei-Te Wang.
Die mikrochirurgische Versorgung eines Aneurysmas im Gehirn kann am 12. März 2024 ab 9:30 Uhr im MedUni Wien-Hörsaalzentrum im AKH verfolgt werden. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, Fragen über Diagnose, Prognose und Therapie von Aneurysmen an das OP-Team zu stellen.
The microsurgical treatment of a brain aneurysm can be followed on March 12, 2024 from 9:30 am in the MedUni Vienna Lecture Hall at Vienna General Hospital. There will also be an opportunity to ask the surgical team questions about the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of aneurysms.
To experience the brain surgery at close quarters, prior registration is required.
