The scientific working group "Gamma Knife Radiosurgery and Vascular Research" of the Department of Neurosurgery is headed by Assoc.Prof.PD.Dr. Josa M Frischer, PhD. The group includes PhD students, diploma students and scientists and is very active in both research and teaching

As the numerous publications as well as the invited lectures at national and international congresses of the working group show, special emphasis is placed on collaboration within the clinic, but also on interdisciplinary cooperation, in particular with the Departments of Biomedical Imaging and Image-guided Therapy, Neurology, Radiation Oncology and Dermatology.
